The law firm, Renner-Thomas Associates was established in 2014 as an off –shoot of Renner-Thomas & Co which was founded by Ade Renner-Thomas (Deceased) in the early nineteen eighties.

Renner-Thomas Associates provides continuity of its services, particularly to ensure that clients of Renner-Thomas & Co who for years had being used to receiving some of the best legal services available to the business sector in Sierra Leone continue to benefit from the proficiency, efficiency, integrity and probity for which Renner-Thomas & Co had come to be known.

Dr.  Renner-Thomas- (Deceased), who remained Consultant Partner till his demise has brought over the recent years his wealth of experience in various fields particularly those of the law and practice relating to commerce, companies, banking, admiralty, real property, succession and others.  With over 40 years of experience in legal practice and then as Head member of the Bench, he has provided guidance and leadership to a number of legal practitioners who have gone on to hold some of the highest offices locally and abroad and others who have become household names over several years of legal practice at the highest level.

Mrs. Jacqueline Hope, with more than 30 years call to both the English and Sierra Leone Bar is the Managing Partner of the Firm and successfully juggles both her legal practice and administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the Firm.  Her expertise in practice include project finance, banking, commercial, corporate matters,security law, real property, succession and employment.  She plays a supervisory role in ensuring that all services are provided efficiently and to the highest standards.

Walter Nicol, the third Partner with over 13+ years call to the Sierra Leone Bar is a seasoned and passionate legal practitioner and advocate in the general law with expertise in banking, commercial, corporate law, real estate law, admiralty and employment. He is well experienced in debt collection.

Fatmata Forster, is currently the lead associate with over 6 years experience in litigation and has a wealth of advocacy experience in real property law, employment and labour law, personal injury claims, estate planning and management, commercial law, family law including adoptions, divorce and custody cases.

Victoria Strasser-King, is an associate of the Firm with 6 years call to the Sierra Leone Bar.  She has a Masters in Insurance Law which is an added Asset to the Firm.

Dunia Baah, is also an associate of the Firm with 5 years call to the Sierra Leone Bar is very passionate about her work, a team worker and has a pleasant personality. She is an experienced advocate.

Cheryl Macfoy, is one of the recent associates. She is vibrant, efficient and hardworking.

Shaun Nicol, is one of the recent associates of the Firm, they all have experience  in litigation and all areas of the law including banking, commerce, corporate matters and employment.

Joy Gabbidon,is the most recent associate of the Firm. She is service delivery oriented and has a passion gender base violence against all genders and juveniles.
